SAXO MINERAL OY, THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW LIMESTONE WORKS IN TORNIO, FINLAND (2002)

We have, on assignment from Saxo Mineral OY, produced and assembled steel for silos and silo stands relating to raw stone silos and product silos. Besides this, the assignment also included the complete production and assembling of:

Stairway connections and service levels in connection with the silos.
Superstructures for silos with steel framework and plate covers.
Unloading house with steel framework and isolating plate cover.
Two oil cisterns, 300 m³and 60 m³, with a passage and a building for steam plant.
Steel framework and plate cover for two connection paths between the oven and the silos.

Besides this we were entrusted with the pipe and machine assembly at the plant
The project required around 1000 tons of steel and lasted Jan - Nov 2002. The project employed around 30 men at the most.
